Grand Opening Banners Details
Advertise the opening of a new shop or company with eye-popping grand opening banners. You can place these banners in front of a building or a store, or even place them in a lobby or a store entrance. The vinyl materials we use are compatible for indoor or outdoor displays. Choose from five available vinyl materials to see which one best goes with your location. You can also find the perfect banner size either from our list of the most popular banner sizes or you can type in your own custom dimensions. Our banners come in both portrait and landscape orientations to suit a variety of settings. No matter where you set up your banner, your custom design will last as long as the durable banner due to the high-quality digital printing method we use. This printing technique creates sharp, full color designs that will not scratch or peel off. Let the everyone around you know that you are open for business by installing colorful grand opening or grand reopening signs.

Vinyl Options
Indoor
Grand opening banners are set up in outdoor and indoor locations to spread the word and generate excitement. If you would like to create banners for indoor display, there are two vinyl materials to choose from. There is an Indoor Vinyl, which is both weather-resistant and UV-protected with a matte finish that is easy to photograph for press releases and social media posts. The other material is the Indoor Opaque Vinyl, which is just as durable as the other indoor vinyl but has a glossier satin finish that is reflective. Consider how you want the grand opening sign to look and feel and whether you will be using the print as a backdrop for photos.
Outdoor
Many companies place grand opening banners outdoors to generate interest in the new business and get customers in the door. If you are customizing grand opening or grand reopening signs for outdoor use, there are three vinyl options to select from. When deciding which one is right for you, think about what kind of weather the banner products will have to withstand. If there will be a lot of wind, choose our Mesh Vinyl. This material is perforated, which allows the wind to push through the openings in the material to prevent ruining the print. If you will need a banner for heavy duty use, such as constantly changing weather, we have the 23oz Opaque Vinyl, which has weather-resistance and UV-protection. We have the same quality material for lighter outdoor use with the 18oz version.
Finishing Options
Another important factor to consider when ordering your grand opening banner is how you will set it up. Some people want to hang the banner from the ceiling or use it with a hardware set. Look at the finishing options below to see which one will be right for your installation:
Grommets: Are you using bungee cords to hang the banner from the ceiling, across a wall, or on a banner post? Then get grommets either on the four corners of the banner or on every 1.5ft of material, which we recommend if the banner is long.
Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: Will you be hanging the banner from the ceiling, on a wall, or with a banner post? Adhesive tabs work the same way grommets do and you can get them in the four banner corners or around the perimeter.
Pole Pockets: Are you pairing this grand opening sign with a hardware stand that includes pole sets for assembly? If so, then select the pole pocket finishing for either the top or, if there are two pole sets, the top and the bottom.
Hemmed Sides: Do you need the edges to stand up against heavy weather or long-term indoor use? We suggest adding hemmed sides to one of the previous finishing options or getting them by themselves. Having the sides hemmed prevents the ends from tearing.
Cut Sides: Do you just need a simple, classic cut so that you can easily place the custom grand opening banners in a frame, on a canvas, or install without hardware? We recommend having the sides cut, which creates thin edges that are perfect for short-term displays or light indoor use.
