- Upload Artwork Template: Find our downloadable product templates on the “Design/Upload” tab. After downloading the product template, open it in your own design software, insert your artwork, and reupload the file before or after placing your order.
- Free Design Services: If assistance is needed with the design, we are here to help. Retractable Backdrops for Trade Shows
One of the most common places to use retractable backgrounds is at trade shows. This display can be used as an alternative to pull down backdrops that hang from the ceiling. They are often used as the centerpiece of a trade show booth. Promote business brands, advertise a sale or a new product, or showcase a message with a custom-made retractable backdrop. The large print is sure to catch the eye of passersby and generate interest in the business.
Retractable photo backdrops are very portable and transport to different events with ease. The base only weighs 25lbs and a carrying case is included so that the lightweight base can be safely stored in a car or truck. When it is time to use the banner at an event, just roll it up to its full length.
One of the reasons retractable backdrops are so popular when advertising is because they are easy to setup and takedown. This display includes the prints and hardware and does not require outside tools to install. Because of the large size, however, it is suggested that two people help assemble the banner.
- Remove the end caps on the side of the base to take out the support poles.
- Turn the support feet at the bottom of the base out to stabilize the entire base.
- There are two support poles. Snap and click the support poles to their full size.
- Attach the bottom of the support poles to the openings on top of the base.
- Pull the retractable backdrop up by grabbing the top of the clamping rail that sticks out of the base.
- Attach the clamping rail to the top of the support poles.

What is the difference between retractable backdrops and other backdrop stands?
This banner stand includes a base that stores and protects the banner when not in use. To display the banner, the print rolls out from the base and secures to a support pole. The entire display is kept in a single unit to save time and to store safely. Other screen displays do not have a base that stores the print. The other displays, instead, require the prints and cumbersome hardware to be assembled each time it is used.
What materials are offered for the banners?
There are four materials to choose from for the banner. Two are vinyl materials and two are polyester. For the vinyl, both fabrics are for indoor use, but one is opaque – meaning that light will not pass through it. The opaque option has a satin finish while the regular one is matte. The polyester options are between a display and premium material. The display polyester is nearly opaque for indoor use, while the premium one is opaque and stronger.
