Cameroon Flags Details
Place the Cameroonian flag where everyone can see it with a high-quality flag and pole set. Our 3x5 flags are the perfect size for a variety of locations, both indoors and outdoors. The weather will also not ruin the flag for print. This is because we use tear-resistant, knitted polyester, which is outdoor-tested to withstand the elements. We also use a state-of-the-art dye sublimation printing technique, which not only creates stand-out colors, but also prevents the print from peeling off the material. This is due to the ink being ingrained into the fabric rather than printed on top of the material. The print is also visible from both sides of the flag. If you need hardware for setting up your flag, add on a mounted pole set or a handheld flagpole to your order. The grommet finishing on the side allows the flag of Cameroon to be easily installed on the hardware. Get a Cameroon flag for sale for the front of your home, business, or anywhere else you want to showcase your country pride.

Cameroonian Flag History
A Cameroon flag began being discussed in 1957. This was because the country was promised independence from the French. Several different design ideas were considered, but in the end the tricolor vertical stripe design was favored by government. Since the country was a trust territory for France, the tricolor design was inspired by the French flag. The three colors chosen for the flag were the Pan-African colors. Many African countries aside from Cameroon included the Pan-African colors on their flags. The tricolor flag was officially hoisted on October 29, 1957. When Cameroon gained independence in 1960, it was decided the flag would be modified. Two yellow stars were added to the top left of the green stripe in 1961. These stars were later replaced with one yellow star in the center of the flag in 1975. This was after Cameroon became a unitary state.
Cameroon Flag Symbols
Green: The first green color represents the forests in the south of the country.
Red: The middle stripe stands for national sovereignty and the connection between the north and south of the country. It is a color of unity.
Yellow: The final stripe on the Cameroonian flag stands for the savannahs in the north of the country and the sun.
Yellow Star: Like the red stripe, the symbol in the center of the Cameroon flag is known as “the star of unity” and stands for national unity.
