Acceptable file types: PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, PSD, TIF, JPG, PNG, INDD
Note: Your template file must have all images embedded, layers & transparencies flattened, template lines removed, and saved as 1 page at the highest or maximum quality.
- CMYK color mode
- Use Pantone® Color Bridge® colors whenever possible
- Design at a 1:10 ratio (products smaller than 16” x 16” will be designed at a 1:1 ratio)
- Keep important elements within the gray image safety line
- Minimum resolution of 360 dpi on polyester fabrics
- Minimum resolution of 800 dpi on vinyl & rigid materials
- Vector art preferred
- Convert all fonts to outlines
- Embed all images and links
- Design to bleed line
- Double-check your grammar and spelling

Band Banners Details
Band banners for branding both professional bands and high school marching bands. These signage banners can be set up as band backdrops on a stage during live shows or on a pole to carry while marching. The high-quality vinyl material is for indoor and outdoor use to accommodate different settings. We digitally print the custom designs on the vinyl in full color for striking, vibrant colors and long-term graphics that will not scratch or peel. Choose the perfect size for the banner’s location from a list of sizes. If you do not see the size you want, enter your own custom banner size. Using these custom stage backdrops at shows advertises your band’s name and logo so that your audience becomes familiar with your brand. Using a large stage banner display also draws attention toward your performance.

Design Band Banners Online
Choose one of three ways to customize your very own band stage banners:
Design Online: This option takes you to our online design tool where you can upload logo images, personalize text, add backgrounds, and select colors to include in the print.
Upload Artwork Template: We include downloadable templates so that you can insert your artwork using you own computer software. Upload your finished artwork template before or after placing your band backdrop order.
Free Design Services: Do you need help creating your stage backdrop? Contact our customer service team and they will get one of our designers to create the graphic free of charge. You will get an artwork proof for approval before we print the stage banner.
Band Banners Vinyl Options
Indoor
We have vinyl options to suit both indoor and outdoor display. Make sure you choose a vinyl that can handle the typical wear and tear of where it will be displayed. If you are placing your stage backdrop indoors, such as on an auditorium stage, we have two options. The Indoor Vinyl has a matte finish and the Indoor Opaque Vinyl has a satin feel. Both materials are excellent for indoor display and both selections are weather-resistant and UV-protected. Base your decision on how you want the band backdrop to look and feel. Additionally, mesh vinyl is a popular choice for onstage backdrops.
Outdoor
If you're going to use the band banners outdoors, such as at a concert or a parade, we have three different vinyl materials. Mesh vinyl banners are exceptionally great for windy conditions. The perforated material makes the banner withstand the weather without ruining the print. We also carry two versions of the Opaque Vinyl. One version is 18oz, which is ideal for light outdoor use, such as live shows. There is also the 23oz, which is for heavier duty use, such as long-term setup. Both Opaque Vinyl materials are weather-resistant and offer UV protection.
Finishing Options
There are many ways you can set up your band banners. Choose one of the following finishing options for using the banner with or without hardware:
Grommets: If you are advertising your banner on an outdoor post or are hanging the banner from the ceiling at a venue, grommets are the best option. You can get grommets in the four banner corners or every 1.5ft.
Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: If you are using post hardware or are hanging the banner from a wall or ceiling, adhesive tabs are available, as well. You can get tabs in the four corners or throughout the banner.
Pole Pockets: If you are walking in a parade with the marching band banners on a pole set or are using a banner stand on the stage, select pole pockets. Pick between getting pole pockets on the top and bottom of the large stage backdrops or just on the top. This is the option you often see on display flags.
Hemmed Sides: Will you be mounting your band backdrop without hardware, such as from a wall? Get the sides hemmed so that the edges will not tear. This will allow the stage backdrop to last a long time for continuous use.
Cut Sides: Will you be placing the stage banner in a frame or setting it up on a canvas to hang on the wall? Get the sides cut to allow the banner to easily fit in a display frame.
