1. Choose Your Feather Flag Shape
Select your shape from four options. Every shape options is made from the same high-quality, outdoor-tested polyester flag material. All four shapes are also available at the same price. Choose which style you want.
- Concave – This feather banner curves at the bottom.
- Convex – This option is like the shape of a feather.
- Angled – The bottom of the flag has a sharp angle.
- Straight – The standard, flat bottom flag shape.

2. Pick Your Custom Feather Flag Size
The heights range from 4.1ft to 18.5ft, or XXS to XXL. No matter if you choose small or extra-large feather flags, the same base, case, shape, and printing options are available. While the standard flag shapes have the same size range, the teardrop flag measures from 3.6ft to 14.1ft, or XXS to XL.
If you are purchasing a pre-printed business flag, they come in a standard 13.5ft height, or our large size.
Single-Reverse Feather Flags
We print the economical single-reverse option on one side of the fabric. The mirror-image of the design bleeds through to the other side so the artwork is visible on both sides. The reverse-image is slightly faded compared to the other side. Single-reverse flags have better wind resistance compared to double-sided feather flags.
Double-Sided Feather Flags
The double-sided graphics of these custom feather flags are more defined and vibrant compared to the single-reverse option. You can also have two different designs on each side. We make double-sided flags by sewing two pieces of fabric together with a liner in the middle to block out light. If your flag design has a lot of details or text that you don’t want reversed on one side, choose this format.
Our feather flags are available in two materials. Both materials are safe for outdoor display. To see which option works best for your flag, read about their advantages below.
This is our most popular flag material. It is a knitted fabric designed for outdoor use. The material is resistant to tearing and ripping when exposed to different weather conditions, making it long-lasting.
If you are purchasing a standard feather flag, this option is perfect and economical. It comes in single-reverse and double-sided printing to suit a wide range of custom designs.
Our mesh option is lightweight and durable for displaying outdoors. Compared to the outdoor flag polyester, this material holds up better in windy and sandy settings. The knit is tighter, and the mesh addition allows wind and sand to pass freely through the feather flag rather than up against it. This prevents ruining your flag when exposed to harsher winds, giving you a long flag life.
While outdoor flag polyester has two print formats, mesh polyester is only available in single-reverse printing.
If you are looking for an economical pole set for indoor or light outdoor use, the standard pole kit is the perfect choice. This pole set withstands winds up to 30mph. It also comes in six sizes to support a wide range of flag sizes, from 4.1ft to 17.1ft.
These pole sets have an aluminum and fiberglass construction.
The more expensive and most durable pole set is the premium option. If your flag will face rougher weather, choose this pole set. Use this pole set in higher winds, up to 55mph-63mph for single-reverse flags or 36mph-46mph for double-sided flags. These pole kits come in four sizes that span from 10.2ft to 18.5ft for most shapes.

Printing Highlights of Custom Feather Flags for Your Events
We print these feather flags using full CMYK colors. Many other, cheaper alternatives, charge you for including more colors in your design. With our full color printing, you can add many colors and details without affecting the price.
We print on the flag fabric using a modern dye sublimation method. The ink infuses directly into the fabric to create long-lasting prints that will not scratch or peel off. This makes the flag perfect for indoor and outdoor use in different weather conditions.
How to Setup Your Custom Feather Flags
Assembling custom feather flags on hard and soft ground is quick, easy, and tool-free. View the five easy steps below to complete the flag setup:
1. Snap the sections of the pole set together.
2. Slide the pole (skinny end first) into the bottom of the flag’s sleeve.
3. Push the pole all the way through until the tip of the hardware is in the flag pocket.
4. Connect the bottom of pole set to either a ground stake or cross base with water bag.
5. Attach the bungee cord loop on the hook of the pole set for extra security.

What is the turnaround time?
All our feather flags have a standard turnaround time of 3 business days. We have expedited production and fast shipping options if you need your flag as soon as possible. Click on the “Estimate Delivery” tool to see what rates are available for you.
Can I order just the hardware or just the prints?
Yes, you can order just the flag or just the pole set. If you just want the print, select “No Pole Set” and “No Base”. If you just want the pole set, go to our feather flag pole kits page.
What is the difference between single reverse and double-sided printing?
Single reverse is when we print the design on one side and the ink bleeds through to create a reverse image on the other side. Double-sided is when we sew two separate prints together with a liner in between. Single reverse produces the image on both sides with one slightly faded. Double-sided allows you to customize a unique image for each side.
For double-sided prints, can my flag feature different images on the front and back?
Yes, each side of the flag can feature different graphics. A fabric liner is between the pieces to keep the light from exposing the other side.
What’s the difference between the outdoor flag polyester and the mesh polyester?
Outdoor flag polyester is the standard option for feather flags. We recommend getting mesh polyester for coastal applications with strong winds and sand. This is because wind or sand particles go through the mesh material rather than up against the flag. Outdoor flag polyester is available in double-sided printing while mesh polyester has only a single reverse layout.
How long will these last?
These custom feather flags will last for 2+ years if properly cared for. Take good care of your flags by keeping them out of severe weather. When storing your flag, make sure it is completely dry to avoid any mildew or mold.
Does every order come with a free carry bag?
Yes, all orders include a carry bag for storing and transporting your hardware. If you would like a bag specifically for your flag and hardware, add a premium carrying case to your order.
What is the wind-rating of the pole set hardware?
The wind-rating depends on which pole kit you select. The standard pole set is for lighter outdoor use and withstands wind speeds up to 30mph. The premium pole set is heavy-duty aviation-grade fiberglass and holds up in winds up to 63mph.
